One small step for a blog, one giant leap for self-sovereignty...

Self-sovereignty happens one step at a time! For me, it starts with hosting my own blog on my own home server. This setup is uncensorable, uncontrolled, and independent of platforms and 3rd party software, free & open source.

This is the first step towards self-sovereignty in the modern internet, which is dominated by centralized web 2.0 platforms. My goal is to break free from dependence on the “magnificent seven” companies, and the sale of my personal data.

I will document this process in this blog and may also post short guides and tutorials on how you can also take the first steps towards self-sovereignty.
